Other clients

Paperful works with any client that supports remote MCP servers. Use these settings:

Clients that support OAuth discover how to sign in automatically, so you don't need to enter a client ID or secret.

Clients without remote server support

If your client only supports local servers, connect through mcp-remote, which runs locally and forwards requests to Paperful:

Test the connection

Use the MCP Inspector to try the tools directly:

npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector

Choose Streamable HTTP, enter the server URL and click Connect. If something doesn't work, see Troubleshooting.
