VS Code

Add Paperful to VS Code to use it from GitHub Copilot's agent mode.

Add the server

Add Paperful to .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace:

You can also run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP and enter the server URL.

Sign in

Click Start above the paperful entry in mcp.json. VS Code asks you to sign in to Paperful in your browser.

Use it

Open Copilot Chat, switch to Agent mode and make sure the Paperful tools are enabled in the tools picker. See Use with coding agents for example prompts.
